General Location
The WTPS range is in Hockley
County, Texas about 9 miles northwest of the city of Levelland.
Driving directions:
From Levelland, Texas at the intersection of TX114 and US385,
drive six miles west on TX114 to Five Mile Road (there is a sign at the
intersection).
Turn right (north) on Five Mile Road and drive 7.5 miles to
the range entrance. This not a straight line from TX114. At about five miles the
road turns
east for 1/2 mile then curves back north to the range.
An alternative route to the range:
From Levelland, Texas at the intersection of TX114 and
US385, drive 4.7 miles north on 385 to FM2306( before you get to the roadside
park).
Travel west on FM2306 for 5.5 miles to the dead end at Hartford Road (aka: Five Mile Road). Turn
right (north) and drive about 2.4 miles to the range.
